Feedback from the Taylor Family
The children loved their books, they diligently filled them in every day, it was good fun for them, however, they did argue about content of what they had done in the day (but that made it even funnier), they filled the books up even when they came home with photographs, it is interesting to see, that when you are out visiting places, they take far more interest if they know they are going to write about it when they get back, they also take far more literature from places to stick in their books to remind them of what they saw during the day – the whole thing became quite a competition to see who could write the most interesting story. They had a wonderful holiday and now they have some wonderful memories and an enormous desire to do it all again………

Thank you so much for sending the holiday journal out so promptly. We have now returned from our holiday in Ibiza, we had a wonderful time, this being our first family holiday abroad, and I am so glad that my eldest son, Finley (6 years) has captured it all in his fab holiday journal. The journal is a great size, not too big to fit in your bag. I loved the prompts to give the child an idea what to write about, and the daily quests are a great idea, although I think it would work better for the parent to set these so that it is something that is achievable for your child and relevant to the particular place you are in. Overall my son loved the idea (even if he needed prompting to fill it in some days) and the finished journal is a very funny and warm keepsake to look back on. It was also a great thing to take back to school for a show and tell which impressed his teacher and friends! I hope you continue to produce the journal as it is definitely something that we would like to do on every holiday.

Hi It was a great success. I would have liked to have more blank pages to stick things in to go alongside each day in the diary as we were using it as a scrapbook/diary… it has provided us with a great record of a special holiday.

My grandson enjoyed writing in his journal … it encouraged him to use the skills he had learned and he liked the whole concept of having his own 'book' that contained a record of his holidays.
